Abstract:
To easily install the software program recorded on an original optical recording disk to a computer and to prevent the duplication of the software program from the computer to an empty recording medium.
The hybrid optical recording disk which is used in a computer and is protected against duplication includes a read-only region having the preformed information including at least one program and disk identifier data and a recordable region. The disk identifier data authenticates the program transferred to the computer and permits the operation of the program by the computer.
