Abstract:

To provide a hybrid power source element with three electrode- terminals, and to provide its manufacturing method.

A cell has a lithium secondary battery and a super-capacitor inside. The positive electrode of the battery and one electrode B of the super- capacitor are connected to a common positive electrode-terminal, the negative electrode composed of lithium metal A of the battery being connected to a negative electrode-terminal and the other electrode C of the super-capacitor being connected to a negative electrode-terminal, thereby forming an electrode- terminal structure with three electrode-terminals. Hence, while this source is superior in performance to conventional lithium secondary batteries, it is also economical and practical compared to a hybrid where a lithium secondary battery and a super-capacitor are separately made.
