To provide a hybrid refrigeration car capable of accurately determining a heat storage completion time even when a driving time and an exhaust temperature are unstable, and efficiently and stably performing cooling during an idling stop by preventing denaturation of a reaction material due to overheating.
This hybrid refrigeration car includes a compression type refrigerating machine 30 and CHP (chemical heat pump) 1, and has a heat storage mode for heating the reaction material 5 in a reactor 3 by exhaust heat in driving an engine to regenerate the same, and a cooling mode for cooling a refrigeration container 101 by evaporating the water condensed in a condensation evaporator 4 in the heat storage mode, as operation modes, temperature sensors 22, 23 are respectively disposed at an inlet and an outlet of the condensation evaporator 4 of a brine circulation path 21 of the CHP 1, and a controller (control unit) 25 is disposed to determine the heat storage termination time of the reactor 3 in the heat storage mode on the basis of the difference between temperatures detected by both temperature sensors 22, 23.
