Abstract:
To provide a technique which enables more reliable prevention of breakage of an EGR device due to heat damage in a hybrid type construction machine which uses both of an engine and a swivel electric motor.SOLUTION: A hydraulic shovel 1 comprises: an EGR device 27; an engine cooling water channel 20; an engine water pump 21; an electric unit 4 including a swivel electric motor 43, a power generation motor 45, an inverter 47 and a power storage device 49; an electric unit cooling water channel 40; and an electric unit water pump 41. The engine cooling water channel 20 passes through a water jacket 23 provided on an engine 2 and returns to a radiator 3 for the engine. The electric unit cooling water channel 40 passes through the electric unit 4 and returns to a radiator 5 for the electronic unit. The electric unit cooling water channel 40 has a branch water channel 40B which branches at a branch point 400 provided on the way, passes the EGR device 27, and returns to the radiator 5 for the electric unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
