Abstract:
To provide a control device of a hybrid vehicle which can suppress the rattling sound of a gear without increasing the size of a high voltage component and collect the rotational energy of an engine as much as possible.SOLUTION: When the output requested for a battery exceeds the battery maximum output being the maximum power that can be output from the battery (S14:NO), an engine is started (S16), the motive power of the engine is converted to the power by a power generation motor and a drive motor is driven with the power from the power generation motor. When the battery request output is reduced to less than the battery maximum output during the driving of the engine (S17:YES), the power generation driving of the power generation motor is controlled such that pull-down torque as large as possible is added to the engine with a value obtained by subtracting the drive motor regenerative power generated with the regenerative driving of the drive motor from the allowable charge power being the upper limit of the power permitted to be charged to the battery as the upper limit of the generation power of the power generation motor (S20, S22).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
