Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle capable of performing filter regeneration control even when battery temperature is low and charge/discharge power of the battery is limited.SOLUTION: A vehicle 1 comprises: an engine 100; a filter 90 for collecting particulate matter in exhaust gas of the engine 100; a battery 150; a first MG (Motor Generator) 10 for charging the battery 150 by generating power using motive force of the engine 100, and driving the engine 100 using the power of the battery 150; and an ECU 300 for controlling the engine 100 and first MG 10. The ECU 300 controls the engine 100 and first MG 10 so as to warm up the battery 150 when the battery temperature is less than a predetermined reference value, when it is necessary to perform GPF (Gasoline Particulate Filter) regeneration control for burning PM (Particulate Matter) by increasing temperature of the filter 90 to regeneration possible temperature.
