Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to perform a more reliable battery-less travel if a necessity to perform a battery-less travel occurs, when an engine is shutdown during a travel.SOLUTION: When at least one of a drive signal from a battery ECU 52 or a latch signal from an HVECU 70 is on, an OR circuit 61 of a relay drive unit 60 performs an ON output, and when both of the drive signal and the latch signal are off, performs an OFF output. And, when an engine is running, the HVECU 70 turns the latch signal off, and when the engine is not running, turns the latch signal on. Also, when an abnormal communication with the HVECU 70 is not detected or when a prescribed time has not been passed since a detection of the abnormal communication with the HVECU 70, the battery ECU 52 turns the drive signal on, and turns the drive signal off when the prescribed time has been passed since the detection of the abnormal communication with the HVECU 70.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
