To provide a hybrid vehicle which can surely obtain a drive characteristic of low rotation and high torque and high rotation and low torque, sufficiently secure a vehicle space, reduce a vehicle weight and optionally set a steering angle and a wheel stroke (wheel travel) by simplifying the constitution of a power line.

The hybrid vehicle 1 is equipped with a vehicle body 4, an engine 5 mounted on the vehicle body 4, an electric generator 6 driven by the engine 5, a hydraulic pump 7 driven by the engine 5, an electric motor driven by an electric energy from the electric generator 6, a hydraulic motor driven by a pressure oil from the hydraulic pump 7, a planetary gear mechanism 23 for combining the output from the electric motor and the output from the hydraulic motor, and wheels for traveling directly driven by the planetary gear mechanism 23.
