Abstract:
To improve braking characteristics from a viewpoint different from viscosity characteristics of brake oil in automatic braking for avoiding a collision in a hybrid vehicle.SOLUTION: In hybrid traveling using both of power of an engine 100 and power of a drive motor 110, division of the power of the drive motor and the power of the engine into a drive wheel W and division of the power of the engine into a power generator 116 which receives the power of the engine, generates power, and outputs the generated power to the drive motor or a battery 114 are executed by keeping a relation in which each rotation number of each of the power generator, the engine, and the drive motor is linearly arranged in this order in a collinear figure. When a risk parameter indicating a degree of collision risk with a target in front of an own vehicle reaches a predetermined first threshold, the engine speed is reduced and controlled before automatic braking for avoiding a collision with the target.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
