NEW MATERIAL: This hybridoma cell line, capable of producing a monoclonal rat antibody IgG1 antibody capable of recognizing a human interleukin-2 receptor and inhibiting and/or driving away the binding of the human interleukin-2 to its receptor.
USE: For the production of the monoclonal antibody capable of treating and diagnosing T-cell-dependent allergy, autoimmune disease, T-cell leukemia, etc.
PREPARATION: For example, a T cell is separated from a human peripheral blood lymphocyte and cultured. The resultant cultured cell is then administered to immunize a BALB/C mouse. After the final immunization, a cell of the spleen is collected and fused to a cell of a murine myeloma in the presence of a polyethylene glycol. The resultant fused cell is selectively cultured in. an HAT culture medium and cloned according to a limiting dilution method, etc., to afford a hybridoma cell line capable of producing the monoclonal antibody capable of recognizing the human interleukin-2 receptor.
