To provide a hydrant apparatus which easily rewinds a drawn hose to an inner wound condition.
When extinguishing fire using the hydrant apparatus 10, a hydrant door of an enclosure 12 is opened to draw out a hose 44 with a nozzle. A reel 34 storing the hose 44 in an inner wound condition is arranged rotatably on a hose storing section 30 of the enclosure 12. At normal times or when the hose is drawn out, a rotation fixing section 38 prevents rotation of the reel 34. When rewinding the hose, the reel 34 becomes rotatable and the hose 44 is rewound within the reel 34 in an inner wound condition by rotating the reel 34 using hands. When the reel 34 is in a rotation fixed condition, a pipe attaching/detaching section 40 connects a hydrant pipe to a primary hose connection. When the reel is rotating, the pipe attaching/detaching section detaches the hydrant pipe from the primary hose connection.
