Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of the hydraulic circuit of an automatic transmission formed in such a way as to perform operating pressure regulating and supply/discharge timing control to plural friction elements element by element.
CONSTITUTION: In regard to two sets of friction elements 44, 45 and 41, 43 to which oil pressure is not applied simultaneously, pressure regulating means formed of linear solenoid valves 71, 72 and pressure regulating valves 61, 62 regulated in pilot pressure by the valves 71, 72 are used in common. Two friction elements and one pressure regulating means are made into one set, and in relation to plural sets thereof, there is provided one switching means formed of an on-off solenoid valve 91 and a switching valve 81 to which the supply/ discharge of switching pressure is performed by the on-off solenoid valve 91.
