Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide for more efficient utilization of engine power by forming a demand valve in such a construction as capable of making switching operation according to a pressure difference between the positions before and after a throttle placed in a steering circuit and to the flow supplied to a steering circuit through the demand valve. CONSTITUTION:A demand valve 6 supplying the fluid discharged from a working pump P2 and an auxiliary pump P3 to a working circuit 7 and a steering circuit 1 is formed in such a construction as to allow a switching operation according to a pressure difference between the positions before and after a throttle 12 placed in the steering circuit 1 and also to the flow supplied into the steering circuit 1 through the demand valve 6. By doing so, steering operation under very slow pump revolution will cause the fluid discharged from the working pump P2 and the auxiliary pump P3 to be supplied to the steering circuit 1, and with no steering operation, the flow will be directed to the working circuit 7 thus minimizing the pump capacity and providing for efficient use of the engine power for running.
