Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simplify the variable pressure construction of a hydraulic clutch.
CONSTITUTION: A slave cylinder 8 connected to the push rod 7 of a clutch 1 is provided on one end of a hydraulic path 10, and a master cylinder 11 is provided on the other end. A variable orifice 15 is provided on the way of the hydraulic path 10, and a needle valve 17 is projected or retreated with a solenoid 18. At take-off, by restricting the variable orifice 15, the clutch 1 can be engaged in the half clutch condition, and take-off and acceleration can be performed smoothly and quickly.
