Abstract:

To provide a hydraulic continuously variable transmission and a power transmission that can miniaturize the device itself in comparison with a conventional hydraulic continuously variable transmission.

This hydraulic continuously variable transmission has a first hydraulic device 100 constituted as a variable displacement hydraulic device, and a second hydraulic device 200 constituted as a differential hydraulic device. A first selector valve 66 and a second selector valve 76 are arranged on the axis O side of a cylinder block 42 rather than plungers 43, 58, and a retainer 83 for reciprocating the second selector valve 76 is provided at the right end part of the second selector valve 76. It is constituted to allow the retainer 83 to be pressed and moved onto the cylinder block 42 side by a displacement mechanism D. The displacement mechanism D is positioned near the outer periphery of an input shaft 21.
