PURPOSE: To reduce a shock by reflecting, at each time an automatic transmission is selected from an N-mode to a D-mode, the time from generation of an N-D shift command to completion of a D-mode transfer to an operating oil pressure control at the time of performing an N-D shift thereinafter.
CONSTITUTION: When a control member 150a performs operation of selecting a mode from N to D, a select position detector device 341 outputs an N-D shift command performing an N-D shift by a hydraulic control means 340 adjusting an operating oil pressure of a rear clutch 12 to a desired value. An automatic transmission, when a transfer to its D-mode is ended, is detected by a speed sensor 332, and in accordance with the time from the N-D shift command to completion of the transfer, an operating oil pressure correcting means 502 corrects an operating oil pressure in a hydraulic circuit reflecting a response at N-D shift time to an N-D shift control thereafter. Thus always performing a stable N-D shift control, a shock can be surely reduced at the time of performing the N-D shift.
