Abstract:

To provide a hydraulic cylinder position detection device and an industrial vehicle provided with the position detection device capable of obtaining correct time for length measurement by reducing generation of reverberation that may disturb transmitting and receiving wave that propagates directly.

A vibration control member 40 is arranged on an inner wall of a cylinder tube 12 of a lift cylinder. A vibration control member 40 is formed in a cylindrical shape and its outer surface 40a is formed along with the inner surface of the cylinder tube 12. A vibration control member 40 is formed by coating on resin with high damping effect of ultrasonic wave (for example; polyphenylsulfide (PPS) resin). Vibration of surface wave sent from an ultrasonic sensor 20 and indirectly propagating through the inner wall of the cylinder tube 12 can be attenuated or absorbed.
