Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a hydraulic damper of a simple structure of which the turn stopper mechanism is improved in view of its shape and material quality, resulting in improvement in the wear resistance, strength in elasticity, bending, compression, and the like of the damper.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of a hydraulic damper in which a shaft 2 having a rotary vane 21 is ratably assembled in a cylindrical chamber 14 of a casing 1, and the rotation of the shaft 2 is braked by viscous fluid filled in the chamber 14, while a rotation stopper mechanism 7 is provided for making rotational regulation of operational bodies such as a lid provided in a face-to-face relation with the inner wall side and shaft 2 side of the casing 1 and connected to the shaft 2 at fixed positions by mutually engageably/disengageably engaging in the process of rotating the shaft 2, the rotation stopper mechanism 7 comprises a resin-made lock ring 8 mounted on the inner wall of the casing 1 and a resin- made engaging ring 9 mounted on the outer circumference of the shaft 2. One of a recessed part 8a and projection part 9a is, and the other of them is, integrally formed on the inner circumference of the lock ring 8 and on the outer circumference of the engaging ring 9 respectively.
