Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic power generation device requiring no storage dam.SOLUTION: In a hydraulic power generation device, an air-filled floating tank 9 which has a water pipe 1 with a turbine 2 and a power generation motor 3 arranged at a bottom section thereof is floated on the sea, a lake or a pond. The power generation motor 3 is protected by a waterproof cover 4. The hydraulic power generation device allows water flowing into the water pipe 1 through a pipe sealing water intake 8 at an upper section of the water pipe 1 to fall inside the water pipe 1 and rotate the turbine 2 to generate electric power. Being placed in the water, the hydraulic power generation device can get abundant water and thereby eliminating the need for a dam.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
