Abstract:
PURPOSE:To increase durability of a clutch by pressing a facing by making use of hydraulic pressure. CONSTITUTION:An input shaft 1 is supported axially movably, on which a flywheel 2 is fixedly mounted. A clutch disk 3 is opposed to a friction surface of the flywheel 2 and a facing 4 of the clutch disk 3 is pushed against the flywheel 2 with use of a pressure plate 7. In addition, a hydraulic pressure type energization mechanism 10 is provided for energizing the pressure plate 7 via a bearing 16 and moving it to the flywheel 2. Moreover, a hydraulic pressure type energization mechanism 11 is provided for energizing the flywheel 2 to the clutch disk 3 via the bearing 17,and a pressure adjusting mechanism 33 is provided for altering the pressures of both the energization mechanisms 10, 11 in correspondence with each other. With such arrangement, durability of the captioned clutch can be improved.
