Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the head of a rail cutter which can cut plural kinds of rails by one receive edge.
SOLUTION: A machine which can give a shearing force to a rail and cut by making a liquid pressure to a drive source is provided with a cutting edge 6 advancing/retreating in response to the output of the drive source, a receive edge 4 having a first and second holders for complementing the sectional external form of each rail so as to be able to hold a mutually different rail on both sides of the advance/retreat direction of the cutting edge and a holder 3 connected to the main body of the drive source and also for fixing the receive edge so as to face the first and second holders to the cutting edge selectively and separatably.
