Title:
HYDRAULICALLY-DRIVEN PUMP AND ANTISKID BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM USING THE PUMP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1068379
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To eliminate a need for a motor-driven pump, reduce weight and a cost, and reduce the generation of noise.

A ball valve 62 is opened by a control piston 63 by means of an indication pressure, and the atmosphere flows through the ball valve 62 and a control valve 60 to a pressure variable chamber 57. When a diaphragm piston 55 and a piston rod 66 are advanced, and a piston rod 66 effects stroke by a given amount, the control valve 60 is switched by a switching means 61. The pressure variable chamber 57 is cut off from the atmosphere and communicated with a constant pressure chamber 58, the atmosphere in the pressure variable chamber 57 is discharged through the constant pressure chamber 58, and the piston 55 and the piston rod 66 are moved backward. When the piston rod 66 reaches a non-operation position, the control vale 60 is switched again by the switching means 61, the atmospheric air flows in the pressure variable chamber 57, and the piston 55 and the piston rod 66 are advanced again. As noted above, the piston rod 66 is self-excitedly reciprocated and effects pump operation.
