Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element excellent in luminous efficiency and capable of emitting light so as to have high luminance, and to provide a new hydrocarbon compound suitably usable for the electroluminescent element. SOLUTION: In this organic electroluminescent element, at least one layer containing at least one kind of bisbenz[4,5]indenoperylene derivative is held between a pair of electrodes, and a new bisbenz[4,5]indenoperylene derivative is used.
