Abstract:
To provide a hydrocarbon production system that can control stable operation of both a catalytic reactor that produces hydrocarbon and a solid oxide type electrolysis cell that performs high-temperature electrolysis.SOLUTION: A hydrocarbon production system includes a solid oxide type electrolysis cell for producing a gas containing methane, hydrogen and carbon monoxide from a gas containing water vapor and carbon dioxide, a catalytic reactor for producing hydrocarbon from the gas produced in the solid oxide type cell, an evaporator for generating the water vapor using heat generated when the hydrocarbon is produced in the catalytic reactor, and an energy supply unit for directly or indirectly supplying thermal energy for generating the water vapor to the evaporator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
