Abstract:
To improve energy efficiency in an entire system.SOLUTION: A hydrocarbon production system includes: a hydrocarbon production device configured to produce hydrocarbon from hydrogen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere; a carbon dioxide separation device configured to absorb and separate carbon dioxide in an exhaust gas; and a heat exchanger configured to supply heat obtained from the carbon dioxide separation device through a heat transfer medium to the hydrocarbon production device. The hydrocarbon production device includes: a first reaction vessel configured to house an absorption storage component capable of absorbing and storing the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and containing at least one of metal oxide and metalhydroxide, and a synthesis catalyst that uses hydrogen and carbon dioxide to synthesize hydrocarbon; a first hydrogen supply part configured to supply hydrogen to the first reaction vessel; and a flow rate control part configured to control each of a flow rate of the atmosphere and a flow rate of hydrogen to be supplied to the first reaction vessel. The heat exchanger removes heat from the exhaust gas supplied to the carbon dioxide separation device and supplies the heat obtained through the heat removal to the first reaction vessel of the hydrocarbon production device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
