To provide a hydraulic power generating device by which occurrence of an unusual noise caused by air bubbles can be prevented even if a discharge space for enhancing power generation efficiency is formed between a turbine chamber and a fluid outlet.

In the hydraulic power generating device 100, an discharge space 25 for discharging water which finishes rotating a water turbine 3 for power generation is formed in a lower position of the turbine chamber 30. A protrusion 500 for preventing retention which promotes discharging to a fluid outlet 13 water and bubbles to circulate around a boss 51 in the discharge space 25, is formed on the bottom wall 250 of the discharge space 25. By so doing, an unusual noise can be prevented which is caused by rotations in a state that bubbles are repeatedly deformed by compression and expansion.
