To provide hydrogel implants with varying degrees of crosslinking.
A system is for attaching a mesh to tissue. The system includes: a mixture including a first reactive precursor including multi-arm polyether possessing electrophilic groups, a second reactive precursor including nucleophilic groups and at least one initiated precursor including at least one vinyl group; the mesh configured to be in contact with the tissue including a surface; and means for injecting the mixture to the tissue through the mesh. The mixture is brought into contact with the mesh to form a first hydrogel both under the surface of the tissue and on the surface of the tissue; then the contact of the initiated precursor with an initiator forms a second hydrogel, and thus an attachment device for attaching the mesh to the tissue is formed.
