Abstract:
To form a hydrogel that exhibits the properties of both reactive and initiated hydrogel precursors.
The present disclosure relates to a hydrogel that exhibits the properties of both a reactive hydrogel precursor and an initiating hydrogel precursor. The hydrogel composition includes: a first reactive precursor including a multi-arm polyether possessing electrophilic groups; a second reactive precursor including nucleophilic groups; and at least one initiating precursor including at least one vinyl group. In one embodiment, the first reactive precursor has N-hydroxysuccinimides; and the second reactive precursor has amine groups.
