Abstract:

To provide a hydrogen gas formation apparatus which dehydrogenates a hydrocarbonaceous fuel such as decalin rapidly and efficiently to feed a highly pure hydrogen gas into a hydrogen consumption apparatus, can improve the efficiency of the apparatus, and is light in weight and small in size.

The hydrogen gas formation apparatus separates and discharges the hydrogen gas formed by dividing decalin 12 into droplets by the application of microwaves or an external mechanical force and feeding the droplets into a reaction tank 15 where they are dehydrogenated.
