Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen generator and a fuel cell system capable of continuously operating without stopping for sufficiently regenerating an oxidative catalyst of a CO remover.SOLUTION: There are provided a hydrogen generator and a fuel cell system capable of continuously operating for a long term by continuing stably supplying a hydrogen-containing gas in which a carbon monoxide concentration is sufficiently reduced after designing in compact a controller 200 such that the hydrogen-containing gas supply amount from a reformer 1 to a first CO remover 2 is reduced when a parameter correlated with a cumulative ammonia supply amount becomes more than a predetermined threshold value and carbon monoxide is reduced by a second CO remover 3 by switching an oxygen gas flow path while regenerating the first CO remover 2 in a hydrogen generator 100 that includes the reformer 1 for generating the hydrogen-containing gas from a raw material, the first CO remover 2 and the second CO remover 3 for reducing carbon monoxide in the hydrogen-containing gas by an oxidation reaction, an oxygen gas supplier 5, and the controller 200.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
