PURPOSE: To make it possible to continuously accomplish the accurate metering operation of the H2 concentration without any interruption of the monitoring operation of the variation of the H2 concentration in liquid Na by subjecting the output signals of the dynamic and static metering systems using two H2 permeable films to phase compensation.
CONSTITUTION: Na from a vapor generator for a Na-cooled fast greeder flows through the H2 permeable films 151 and 152 of tube shape. The H2 having passed through the vacuum chamber 161 of a dynamic metering systme is discharged by an ion pump 23 such that the output P1 is indicated directly as the H2 concentration signals C only in case the H2 concentration in the Na is varied. The pressure change of the H2 having passed through the vacuum chamber 162 of a static metering system is metered by a vacuum meter 31. In case the H2 concentration in the Na is little changed or slowly changed, the sigals P1 are fed to a phase compensator 51 so that the difference in responding speed between the dynamic and static metering methods is compensated by the output P2of the vacuum meter 31 which has passed through a switching operational device 52. The resultant output is compared again with the output P2 and is fed to a phase compensator 53 so that a warning output Δ is indicated under an abnormal condition
