Abstract:

To provide a hydrogen production apparatus using a transforming apparatus capable of surely decreasing carbon monoxide in a reformed gas and a fuel cell system using the hydrogen production apparatus.

The transforming apparatus is provided with a transforming part 6 connected to a reforming part 1 and having a transforming catalytic body 7 inside and a purification inlet heat recovering part 9 which is connected to the downstream side of the transforming part 6 and one end of which has a purification inlet water supply part 10 and another end of which is connected to the transforming part 6 and moreover, the transforming apparatus is provided with a transforming temperature detecting part 8 for detecting the temperature of the transforming part 6 and a control part 20 connected to the transforming temperature detecting part 8 and the purification inlet water supply part 10. Water is supplied from the purification inlet water supply part 10 and exchanges heat with the reformed gas to be supplied to the transforming part 6.
