Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the reduction of the energy efficiency of the whole device by preventing the concentration of a noncondensable gas as impurities separable by gas-liquid separation treatment.SOLUTION: Provided is a hydrogen production device comprising: a dehydration reactor 10 where MCH is heated so as to be decomposed into hydrogen and a dehydrated substance; gas-liquid separators 35, 36 where the dehydrated reactant produced by the dehydration reactor 10 is cooled and is subjected to gas-liquid separation into a dehydrated reactant high in a hydrogen concentration and condensed liquefied impurities; a hydrogen separator 30 where the dehydrated reactant introduced from the gas-liquid separator 36 is separated into hydrogen V31 and an off gas G31; an off gas feed line LN1 where the off gas separated from the hydrogen separator 30 is introduced into the inlet side of MCH in the dehydration reactor 10; and a hydrogen utilization system 1C utilizing a part or the whole of the off gas G31 as heat energy from the off gas feed line LN1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
