PURPOSE: To obtain an elastomer compsn. suitable for an air-bag cover by mixing a specific hydrogenated block copolymer, a paraffinic oil, a polyolefin resin, a polystyrene resin, a polyphenylene ether resin, and a rubber in a specified wt. ratio.

CONSTITUTION: The compsn. is prepd. by mixing 100 pts.wt. hydrogenated block copolymer which is obtd. by hydrogenating a block copolymer comprising a number of terminal polymer blocks consisting mainly of vinylarom. compd. units and an intermediate polymer block consisting mainly of conjugated diene units and has a spring hardness of up to 99, 10-300 pts.wt. paraffinic oil, 5-100 pts.wt. polyolefin resin having a Vicat softening point of 100°C or above 5-100 pts.wt. polystyrene resin, 5-50 pts.wt. polyphenylene ether resin consisting of structural units of the formula (wherein R1, R2, R3, and R4 are each H, halogen or a hydrocarbon group) and having a reduced viscosity of 0.15-0.7, and 5-100 pts.wt. ethylene-α.olefin(-nonconjugated diene) copolymer rubber.
