To provide complexes useful as catalysts for organic chemical synthesis including hydrogenation and dehydrogenation of unsaturated compounds or dehydrogenation of substrates, and manufacturing processes for variety of chemicals using the complex catalysts.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a complex such as Ru, Os having a compound of formula I as a ligand.
