Title:
HYDROLYZABLE DRY NONWOVEN FABRIC
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001355170
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain both a hydrolyzable dry nonwoven fabric excellent in performances such s touch, hydrolyzability, mechanical strength, softnes, etc., and a wiping and cleaning material using the nonwoven fabric.

This hydrolyzable dry nonwoven fabric comprises a polyvinyl alcohol-based water-soluble fiber having ≤40°C water dissolution temperature and a cellulose-based fiber having ≥60°C water dissolution temperature and bonded at least partially between the fibers with the hydrolyzable fiber. When the water dissolution temperature of the polyvinyl alcohol-based water-soluble fiber is X°C, the blending ratio Y (mass %/nonwoven fabric) of the water-soluble fiber is (1.5X+5)≤Y≤(0.5X+75). A great number of thermocompression bonding parts having 0.2-50 mm2 area are formed on the surface of the nonwoven fabric and bulk density of the hydrolyzable dry nonwoven fabric is ≤0.5 g/cm3.
