Abstract:

To provide a new hydrophilic binder resin for printing original plate, and a printing original plate image forming material containing the hydrophilic binder resin for printing original plate and a thermally fusible hydrophobic substance, and the original plate for printing using it.

The hydrophilic binder resin for printing original plate is produced by polymerization of a polymerizable material containing a glycerol-1-methacryloyloxyalkylurethane compound (the carbon number in the alkyl group is an integer of 1-4).
