Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a deodorant for kitchens, toilets, exhaust gases, coating exhaust gases, air cleaners and refrigerators which enables maintaining of a high deodorizing treatment capacity for a long period of time under a high moisture environment and reproducing of the deodorizing capacity many times by a heating reproduction treatment to improve adsorbing performance of acetic acid having expressly intense malodor.
CONSTITUTION: A deodorant for a refrigerator is a hydrophobic deodorant which comprises (A) a carrier, (B) (i) a hydrophobic zeolite with a silica/alumina ratio of at least 100 or more formed thereon, (ii) an adsorption layer comprising a amorphous composite of zinc oxide and silica dioxide and (C) a catalyst component comprising manganese dioxide and copper oxide supported thereon.
