Abstract:
To provide a material capable of adsorbing excellently a volatile sulfur compound in a liquid phase without performing a high-temperature heat treatment, and excellent in adsorptivity of the volatile sulfur compound just after start of adsorption.SOLUTION: An adsorbent of a volatile sulfur compound in a liquid phase contains hydrotalcite nanoparticles whose crystallite diameter is 1-20 nm, containing a hydrotalcite compound containing divalent zinc ion and trivalent aluminum ion. A hydrotalcite composition contains a hydrotalcite compound containing divalent zinc ion and trivalent aluminum ion, and a surfactant.SELECTED DRAWING: None
