Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrothermal treatment method for organic waste which eliminates demerits due to high water content by raising the solid content and which can be adopted by a relatively small city, town, or village. SOLUTION: A metal-made reactor 1 is used which comprises a ceiling lid section 11 and a cylindrical side wall section 13 having a reverse conical bottom section 12. A supply port 14, which is formed at the ceiling lid section 11, is connected to an organic waste supply feeder 21 and also to an oxidant supply machine 31. A gas exhaust port 15 connected to an automatic pressure governor 41 is also formed. In the reactor 1, a stirrer blade 52 is installed. Around the reactor 1, a heater 61 capable of heating up to 374 deg.C is installed. The bottom section 12 of the reactor 1 is formed in a reverse conical shape, and at the lower end of it, a contents discharge port 16 having an up-and-down operable open/close plug is formed.
