To obtain a hyperbranched polymer being a highly functional polymer, to provide a method for producing the same and to obtain a compound for producing this hyperbranched polymer.
The compound contains two oxetanyl groups and one carboxy group. The method for producing the hyperbranched polymer comprises subjecting a compound containing two oxetanyl groups and one carboxy group to self-polyaddition reaction.
