Abstract:
To provide a pressure contact terminal that can be formed from a single sheet of metal plate by restricting a wire from coming out in the upward direction.SOLUTION: A pressure contact terminal 1 to which a wire W whose conductor portion is covered with an insulating material is connected includes a pressure contact portion 10 connected to the conductor portion, and a wire holding portion 50 that suppresses the movement of the wire W in the opposite pressure contact direction. The pressure contact portion 10 and the wire holding portion 50 are formed from a continuous conductive stamped material. The pressure contact terminal 1 includes a box-like shape with a bottom wall 20, and is provided with a pressure contact portion 10 and a wire holding portion 50 along the front-rear direction. The pressure contact portion 10 is provided on extensions of the front and rear ends of the bottom wall 20, and the wire holding portion 50 consists of a piece of a pair of side walls 30 on extensions of the left and right ends of the bottom wall 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
