Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an external agent for skin having an improved durability of whitening activity by' synergistically enhancing the whitening activity of kojic acid and/or its derivative and increasing the skin-fitting activity.
CONSTITUTION: An external agent for skin is obtained by compounding kojic acid and/or its derivative with one or more kinds of extracts of plants selected from the group consisting of acerola, ginkgo, Ceratonia siliqua, fruit of Rosa multiflora, cranesbill, beefsteak plant, cinnamon, Origanum majorana, thyme, paprika, hip, orchid, lupin.
