Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible to form an agricultural vinyl chloride resin composition good in long-term weathering resistance, by adding necessary additives to a vinyl chloride resin obtained from a monomer mixture based on vinyl chloride and essentially consisting of this monomer and a specified hindered amine compound. CONSTITUTION:This agricultural vinyl chloride resin composition is prepared by adding a plasticizer and a stabilizer and, optionally, other additives to a vinyl chloride resin produced from a monomer mixture essentially consisting of vinyl chloride and 0.01-10wt.%, based on the vinyl chloride, hindered amine of formula I (wherein R1 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, X is formula II or formula III, Z is -O- or -N(R4)-, Y is formula IV or -R5-CH=CH2, R2 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R3 is a hydrogen atom or formula V, R4 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, and R5 is a direct bond,-CH2-or formula VI).
