Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent discoloration or denaturation in a resin composition containing a ceric oxide sol as an ultraviolet absorber.

CONSTITUTION: A phosphorus compound antioxidant is used in combination with a ceric oxide sol or ceric oxide derived from the sol to produce a resin composition. Thus, the discoloration and denaturation of the resin can be prevented, and the performance of the sol serving as an ultraviolet absorber can be sufficiently exhibited in the composition.
