PURPOSE: To implement the adoption of the optimum architecture and the operation/maintenance of a program such as its revision independently by using different processors for call control processing and for data transfer control processing.
CONSTITUTION: The system consists of a subscriber group 1, subscriber lines 2,3, packet exchanges 10,20, subscriber interfaces 11,21, data transfer control sections 12,22, relay interfaces 13,23, call control sections 14,24, information lines 15-18, 25-28, a relay network 30 and relay lines 31,32. Then the data transfer control sections 12,22 as processors for data transfer control processing are provided separately from the call control sections 14,24 as processors implementing call control processing. The processors for call control processing and the processors for data transfer control processing are provided separately in this way, then the interference between both the processing sections is reduced. Furthermore, the processors mainly implementing the call control processing are formed as densely coupled multi processors (TCMP).
