Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to carry out work for soundproofing and shielding in a ceiling chamber even after execution of the ceiling work.

CONSTITUTION: This soundproofing and shielding device is composed by sticking long planar lead plates which have flexibility together with a sound shielding property or sound absorbing property and are set at sizes at which these plates are erectable within the ceiling chamber and sound absorbing materials 20 consisting of glass wool, etc., formed to a square plate shape to both surfaces of these lead plates. The soundproofing and sound shielding device composed in such a manner is carried into the ceiling chamber after the installation of the ceiling and is erected to an upright state by using stands 21.
