PURPOSE: To provide a foamable fluororubber composition which can give a fluororubber foam excellent in heat resistance, chemical resistance and mechanical strengths and to provide the foam made therefrom.

CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises 100 pts.wt. polyol-cross-linkable fluororubber, 0.1-10 pts.wt. polyol cross-linking agent at least one of the OH groups of which is silylated, 1-20 pts.wt. acid acceptor, 0.1-10 pts.wt. catalyst, and 3-20 pts.wt. organic blowing agent. The foam is prepared by subjecting the above composition to hot-air vulcanization under normal pressure.
