PURPOSE: To automate easily a lead-wire connecting work, etc., by holding the end parts of a coil respectively in predetermined places the case of its winding.

CONSTITUTION: A stator core 15 is provided on a pallet 11, and is fastened removably to the pallet 11 by a clamp 17. Then, a movable blade 18 is inserted into the stator core 15, and is fastened to the pallet 11 by sliders 23 in the state wherein the blade 18 is protruded from the stator core 15. Subsequently, a coil is formed by a winding machine, and when the coil is dropped into the movable blade 18 its end parts are fastened respectively to wire holding tools 24. Thereafter, by a pull-through type coil inserting device, the coil is inserted into the slot of the stator core 15, and after a terminal base is mounted on the stator core 15, the end parts of the coil held by the wire holding tools 24 are fastened respectively to the terminal base.
