PURPOSE: To increase a manufacture amount of tray-packed food by a single operator per unit time to a higher level than conventional to save power and reduce a manufacturing cost in manually packaging food into a tray by a predetermined amount to produce tray-packed food.
CONSTITUTION: Trays T for packaging food are carried to food packaging stations S1 to S4 and mounted on a measuring device 6 at the station one by one, the tray T is taken out from the measuring device 6 when predetermined measuring time for a single tray T has elapsed for carrying out, and while the tray T is mounted on the measuring device 6, a predetermined amount of food F is pacaging in the tray T. Therefore in carrying the tray T which has been taken out from the measuring device 6, a tray T with a predetermined amount of food packaging is transferred to a next treatment station, while a tray T without the predetermined amount of food packaging is transferred toward a defective tray treating stating 8.
